In order for the Phoenix skill to be functional in your mod, each individual map must have a "phoenixhome" object from which Feagle can spawn.

Phoenix home object

The simplest way to set this up is to copy the phoenixhome object from any of the maps of the mainmod. Open any mainmod map in the editor and move to the entrance of the map. There, you should find an object that looks like the shadow of a bird. Select and export this object to a file, then move the file from the mainmod's object folder to your mod's object folder. Import the object into your map. (Another, easier way to copy objects between maps is to press CTRL-C with the object selected, then load up the other map, and press CTRL-V)

Next, you need to create pathfinding nodes to cover your map; Feagle will use those to reach the player in need.
